The Muse of the Perverse
First it was "Oh hi, write this plot in a universe you barely know and don't really fan at". Fine, eventually she convinced me, and I got into it fairly well.
Then a couple of days later it was "Hey, that one's a bit heavy-handed, write this too!" Gah. I can do that, but I usually get a little more time.
That was yesterday. This evening, it's "Nah, that's too convoluted. Have a third idea."
It's not that I don't agree with her. I just wish she'd bloody well slow down.
