vr_trakowski | Day six

Mom is having an allergy attack today, and everyone seems a bit tired, so we skipped the planned market and were slow. They went back to Ansouis, I read more; then after lunch, we all went down the hill to a wine tasting. I wandered off and found a shop selling ceramic cicadas (my sister-in-love wants one) and Cucuron postcards.

I talked to a lady while waiting for the grocery store to open and surprised myself at how much French I remembered. Funny gaps! She had her daughter's terrier, Nina, and I think is a chef at a local restaurant. The register in the grocery store rings up things in both euros and francs.

Dinner in again, much the same; my brother and sister-in-love found me a chocolate mouse like I had on the way back from Providence.

I bought lavender for various people, and a cicada magnet for someone special. I should get her lavender too.

cincoflex at 6 this morning (4PM Friday hers! Heh) on my brother's Blackberry to say hi. Short but great! It was very good to hear her.
