I get most of mine from the off-brand CDs at Target and/or Borders, actually. Borders has some nice $5.99 ones out this year, the "Snowflake" series.

Too bad there isn't a Borders anywhere near here. I did pick up some $1 CDs from one of the dollar type stores on a lark, and they were much better than what I was expecting for a buck. Have to see about making a trek to civilization and a Target.

Yes, they can be surprisingly good. Just make sure you don't buy the same ones next year; they tend to repackage them.
