In the category of simple pleasures...

...there's something to be said for walking up the wrong side of the road just to find dried thistle blossoms so I can blow the fluff, and watch it dance ahead of me in the lowering sun.  As fun as bubbles, and it lasts longer, though it's a good deal more prickly.

Sometimes a "simple pleasure" is the greatest fun :D I love blowballs, so your post made me smile, a "simple pleasure" as well. Thanks :D
Have a nice day.

Heh, you too! "Blowballs", I've never heard that term before. Dandelions?

That paints the most lovely image in my mind. *dreams* We are wet and chill here, so the only things on the wind are leaves from the trees, although they have their charms as well. It's like someone has spilled paint across the landscape - all golden browns and crimson, burgundy and bright yellows.

hehehe Yes, "Dandelions". I think, this is the result of my chaotic english studies :D.

Sounds gorgeous! It hasn't been near enough cold here yet to turn the leaves. I don't like the cold but I could use a little autumn--can I borrow a cup?

English is an INSANE language. I think "dandelion" was originally French anyway!
