The Mentalist 2-2

That has an awful lot of trees for Sacramento, doesn't it?

Interesting--the Capitol's flag seems to be at half-mast.

I do not like the shrink at all.  Nope.

Hee!  van Pelt has a lot more going for her than she looks.

Hokay, Daddy killed Kristen.

For pity's sake, Cho, just invest in one of those lock-pop tools.

Yep, definitely half-mast.

Huh, I was wrong.  Mostly.

Oh, I really like Cho.

International law enforcement symbol of friendship??  *laughter*

Who the heck puts a flashing light on a bug?

Re: 2012 preview: Oh, look, California's finally falling off the U.S.  Fly higher, you dumbasses.

*snicker* I said the same thing! Of course, I'm sure it'll make sense in the movie...

I wouldn't guarantee it!

I really like all the principles on this show - and I think Cho learned his cop mannerisms from watching re-runs of Dragnet. I love his flat, deadpan delivery :-)

Re: 2012, I can't watch movies like this one without critiquing the science. I wonder if people who get all their science from action movies will utterly fail when confronted with a real disaster, because it doesn't *look* like a "real" disaster?

Cho is a delight. I saw him smile once last season and was actually a little disappointed.

Depends on the disaster, I suppose--a flood, for instance, is a little hard to miss. I assume, never having seen one myself...
