Since I don't have a sex life, this is purely for amusement purposes. And it's plenty amusing. I'm sitting right next to a full bookcase, so nearest doesn't exactly apply. Have a selection.

1.  I love watching Hotch smack people with his baton.  I like even more watching his expression when told not to use his gun. 

2.  He was the only person in the Florida heatwave not sweating.  

3.  I spotted a copy of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on someone's bookshelf in The Perfect Storm.

I went to my credit union today, nothing out of the ordinary, but they're renovating so everything is changed around.  I could see over the counter to the drawers on the other side.  And was deeply amused to see, among drawers labeled "General Supplies" and "Business Cards", one labeled simply "Lollipops". 

Okay, I have other opinions about the Ninth Doctor, many of them centering around Dalek.  I am only partway through the first new-series season, given a lack of cable (thank you, public television).  But I just watched The Doctor Dances (dumb title) and Rose tells him he's beaming like Father Christmas.  His response is "Who says I'm not, red bicycle when you were twelve?". 

I have long maintained that Santa Claus is a Time Lord.  *beam* 

How did I never notice before that the Sheriff of Nottingham is in the Max Headroom TV-movie?  This is big.  *snerk*  Yet more proof that the universe is not only stranger than we imagine, but stranger than we can imagine.
