A while back I decided it would be interesting to do a commentary on Green Laurel, so here's my indulgence.  Hopefully I can manage the LJ cuts well enough.

...Hi.  *waves*  Sorry for the long absence.  As cincoflex said, I had my appendix out last week, which is the more immediate part of some ongoing health problems that are annoying and deeply distracting but not by ANY means life-threatening--even the appendix wasn't on the point of going kaboom.  

Thanks for all the well-wishes!  I will reply to them soon--my online access is currently limited (and has a chair that doesn't suit my post-surgical self).  I intend to at least finish up Green Laurel and post it when I can, and I thank you all for your patience in waiting for it.  Since I'm not allowed to go back to work until probably next week, I might as well use the time for something, huh?  :P  In between naps, that is--boy howdy, the pain ain't much but my energy levels are about nil. 

Anyway, I just wanted to poke my head up and say I'm still here, if hopelessly behind on LJ and Twitter.  See you all around.

In other news, not that I've been saying so here much, Chapter 12 of Green Laurel is up for those of you playing along at home.  Iron Man, Tony/Pepper, PG-13.  And illustrated again this week by rabidpotato!   laura27md made this possible; and especial thanks to cincoflex this week for listening to me whine about plot.        

Heh.  Are you really that surprised?  Chapter 8.  Iron Man, Tony/Pepper, PG-13.  cincoflex  and laura27md  make this a better story than ever I could alone!  

Chapter 7 is up, more or less on time--it's still Tuesday through most of the country, after all.  :P  Iron Man, Tony/Pepper, rated PG-13. 

In addition, both cincoflex  and I have succumbed to the Sherlock Holmes influence, which surprises our readers not at all, I'm sure.  *grin*  Check her LJ for a couple of gems; my first feeble effort of Dreamer Wake is rated a nice easy G and has no pairings at all.  Loose ends, hah. 

...insert evil laugh here. Green Laurel is Iron Man, Tony/Pepper, and rated PG-13, though the latter may change later. Heaps of abject thanks to cincoflex for putting up with this thing for over a year now, encouraging, poking, rereading, admonishing, and generally being the wonderful enthusiastic person that she is! Many thanks also to laura27md for last-minute reassurance and a parallax view. Please note, I did not always take their excellent advice!
