I was looking forward to today. “Ah,” thought I, “I’ll go into work in blissful solitude, spend four hours working on my current project, and then spend the rest of the time writing, with no voices/colleagues/floor polishers to distract me.” The first half of this went just fine.
Did I write, though? Nope.
I’ve spent the rest of the time moomfing about online, looking up podcast feeds and playing Minesweeper.
Some days the muse just doesn’t want to get out of bed, I guess.
