Tea and Dragons

In the spirit of Mnemosyne's Lock, I've posted a quickie I wrote weeks ago for cincoflex.  She graciously allowed me to post it!  It (yes, that's the title) is Iron Man and rated G.  

Mnemosyne's Lock clocks in at 44,507 words currently, and I think I'm finally finished.  There'll be a little tweaking tomorrow before I post, but I reworked the last chapter and am much more pleased with it.  Not bad for ten weeks' work. 

Plus, I get to post the banners cincoflex made for me!  *glee*  She'd better be careful, or she'll have no time to write in between supplying gorgeous graphics to hopeful writers.  I can hardly wait to put up the ones she did for my WIP.

The fruit of my frenzy...Mnemosyne's Lock is Iron Man (movieverse) and rated PG-13. And cincoflex is the best (and most patient) beta on the planet.

Well...I got to the end. At about 3:30 this morning. I think, it's all kind of a blur. *yawn*

Grand total comes to roughly 35,000 words--roughly because NeoOffice and Microsoft Word have different ideas of how long the thing is. I'm not actually finished--there's touching up to be done, and probably a scene or two to be squeezed in, but I found the ending (or at least an ending). Which means I can start posting. Possibly tomorrow.

Heavens, it's good to be done with this one, if a little bit of a let-down. I'd love this kind of muse-lash if I didn't actually have to get up and go to work, but it's awkward when I do...

Progress was slowed by RL issues, but it's still being made...
