Fluff-stuff, yay!

Love it as always, the alarm was so funny, so realistic and so...Sara:)

Thanks!

Thanks for another wonderful chapter, VR! I cracked up over the alarm and I really enjoyed the addition of Brass in this chapter. HttM is such an enjoyable read. Wednesdays (HttM Day) and Thursdays (CSI Day) are my favorite days of the week. :D

Heh, I almost didn't include the alarm. But life needs its ridiculous moments as well as its quiet ones, I suppose.

Brass needed his own moments, I think, rather than being part of the mob. He sort of invited himself to dinner!

Mmm...fluff... Marshmallowy goodness. ;-)

I enjoyed this chapter. Watching Sara get acquainted with her new home, her musings as she wanders around...it's fun being inside a character's head. Oh that damn alarm system! LOL On the other hand, it kept the moment from become too heavy.

The little touches that showed how much Grissom wanted her there...very sweet. That he actually planned for this and was making room in his life and home...subtle but meaningful.

I like his explanation about the bugs... ::snerk::

And the reunion with Brass was wonderful -- the easy rapport between them undiminished in the years apart.

Another wonderful instalment in a fabulous story, VR. I salute both your gift for storytelling and your discipline to update so regularly. Well done!

Heh, now all I need is some puffed rice cereal! Yum.

I DO like Brass, and it was great to bring him in. He's a wise man (and a wise guy, but we knew that!).

So I'm really late to the party! Did a quick read of the chapter when it was published last week, and wanted to read through it again at my leisure without interruption (cough*notatwork*cough) then I had to go and fall down my stairs, spraining my foot. Was out of commission for a few days.

Everything about this chapter was perfect. Waking up together in their home, making coffee, the alarm, strolling down memory lane...all the things that occur in our every day lives.

My favorite lines:

She squeezed his fingers gently. "Sometimes the last really is the best."

"And when you’ve found what you want, you stop looking." His voice was hoarse, but Grissom didn’t care. He curled his fingers around Sara’s and lifted them to his face, kissing the fingertips with reverence. "I love you."

Sigh...And how wonderful was Brass? Just what I would expect to see onscreen. All of it. Sara's exuberant greeting, his candidness with Grissom about being a 'lucky SOB', and the general tone of the conversation between the 3 of them.

Another winner! Eagerly awaiting the next installment. Looking forward to Catherine's reaction. Am also anxious to know how Ed, Gracie, Kimmy and Joey are faring on their new adventure.

And thanks...it was cool. Know what I mean? *grin*

Hope you're feeling better.

Oww! I hope your foot is better! I'm glad you didn't break anything, though.

Glad you liked it! ;) Ed & Co. won't be moving until August, but we'll get there eventually....
