Heh--I have NO IDEA why my subconscious decided Grissom should be blind in this one. Nor, now that I look at it again, why I totally neglected to actually name the city (San Francisco). But I am sometimes intrigued by the idea of handicapping a character in some way to see how they react to the limitation.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! If ever I do expand on it, I'll be interested myself to see where it goes...
