"Mad as a box of frogs."  Now why have I never heard that phrase before?  Marvelous.  Ribbit!

Now that HTTM is finished, I'm trying to get back to my novel, attempting ~500 words per day with spotty success.  Last night I wrote up some of an unusually coherent dream I'd had--the storyline was interesting and the dream itself was vivid.  I added detail, trying to build something, but I'm not sure it's going anywhere--it may be too gossamer.

I've been reading Kushiel's Dart, too, and despairing of such complexity.  Far more than I could keep track of.

Edit: this is the third time I've typed this, thanks to various glitches.  There's a reason I use Firefox generally!

I love the way you give birthday presents to people and then the rest of us out here get unbirthday presents. It almost make getting older fun. I really enjoyed Fair Play. It is a great companion piece for "Nine Year Itch". I'm thinking of asking for a Grissom for my birthday. I've been a very good girl this year.

How long have you been working on your novel? I hope that it starts flowing well for you. One last question, Just how mad is a box of frogs? hope that you have a great week. anne

I've never heard that phrase before either. I picked up Blood Canticle about a week back. I enjoyed the Lestat parts of it.

Haven't read that one! Is it Anne Rice, then?

And she's quite compelling! A little clumsy sometimes, but definitely fun. I've got the next two on order at the library.

Heh, thank you! Does he come in six-packs? : P

Oh, I started it back in 1996 as part of my Master's. It's been sitting for a while, though.

I think the madness level is variable...as needed!
