There're many excellent arrangements of this one, but I particularly like the way the instrumentation is done, and Mr. Harris has a nice smooth voice that can handle the demands of the tune.
I'm told this is a difficult hymn to sing, but my mom used to sing it beautifully for us as a going-to-bed song (our request) and as a consequence I can hit all the notes with no trouble. I can't maintain them, but I know the pattern by heart.
Also, thank you for the notes about Silver. I really do appreciate your sympathy.
