This is still Zionangel's fault.  Goodness and Mercy is Once Upon a Time, rated G, Belle/Rumpelstiltskin, and a post-ep for Skin Deep.  Also proof that short is, as usual, beyond me.  

I am enjoying the show--it's great to see a consistently badass female character--but I have two gripes.  One, it's Maine, not Iowa--why are almost all the characters white? 

Two, can't these people spell??  Gah.  

Did anyone else spot the Golden Fleece at Rumpelstiltskin's place?  *snerk*

the Iowa comment made me laugh SUPER loud. My husband is from Iowa, and I've been there once or twice a year for the last 10 years. Last time I was there, I saw the two things I'd never seen in Iowa before: and black person and a BMW. She was driving it.

I haven't been to Iowa in a quarter of a century; mostly what I remember is the cornfields. And the smell of pig farming. They were very nice cornfields, though. /urban snob

I love Once Upon A Time and this ep in particular did a great job of ripping my heart out. The attention to detail on the show is amazing. Not only did I spot the Golden Fleece, but also the candlestick and the clock - Lumiere and Cogsworth and... what looks suspiciously like Mickey Mouse's hat from Fantasia, lol.

Loved the fic and I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks Belle wasn't affected by the curse! Their reunion was very poignant and I liked how Gold sent the cup up because he wasn't sure how she'd respond - very believable.

Oh and I just might have had to spell out bravery on my fingers to make sure it had 7 seven letters. *snerk*
