It has just occurred to me that I bought green onions at the grocery store this evening.  Along with several other things, of course.  I thought I put all the cold stuff away, but I didn't even see those...and it occurs to me that I can't even remember taking them out of the cart.  Mind you, my brain is notorious for slipping over such things. 

ETA:  Aha, in with the apples and potatoes.  I'm perfectly capable of forgetting items exist for days on end, but not this time, apparently....

Once, I KNEW I bought granola bars, and this was recent, mind you, and couldn't find them for the longest time. I opened the freezer one day and there they were. Just the size of a frozen dinner LOL!!

That is almost... scary.

I too bought green onions at the grocery story last night. Mine didn't immediately make it to the fridge either. They did get into the house, but were still sitting in a plastic bag on the counter when I randomly thought of them later.
