Butterfingers knew what it meant when the colored lights came out and the decorators brought in green branches for the walls. The Boss would be busier than ever, and more yelly; lots of people would come to gather in the house with loud music and many organic perishables.
But this year it was quiet. The Boss only grumbled some, and when the people came over the music was softer. Butterfingers applied his logic routines, and only one thing had changed since last year--PEPPER was there all the time.
Butterfingers was grateful. He liked PEPPER much better than the yelling.
