Knotted

I've posted a brief, slightly silly, Halloween Inception story.  Knotted is Arthur/Ariadne and rated G.  Many thanks to cincoflex for last-minute betaing and the banner! 







Without the film in front of me, I can’t check to see if Ariadne really did wear a scarf in every scene (bar the Dreams, of course, which don’t count for this purpose).  But I’m willing to wing it at the moment.  

I figure most readers will get this one long before the dénouement, but what the heck, it’s fun.  :P  

I almost never write in present tense; haven’t for years, if I recall aright.  It’s an interesting experience, but I really prefer past tense.

I found your fic in FFN and since I can't feedback there, I'll do it right here :) I like the premise, and the fic reminded me of Shirley Jackson's The Lottery, where the horror sets in just as easily, without call or warning. The mysteries they each held, touched but shied away. I like the easy flow of the story and its simple yet satisfying end. Thanks for sharing the lovely fic. I LOVE it.
