Hm. After reading the spoilers (such as they are) for the season finale, I'm starting to wonder. Mr. Petersen's contract is up this year, I believe. What if Sara disappears--and he leaves to find her?

Excluding what this will do to the 'ship and the show, I'm curious as to whether the writers will make that move.

It's been spoiled that Sara's fate won't be up in the air at the end of the episode.

According to Nina Tassler, a CBS honcho, Billy Petersen is signed for next season. No other confirmation from any other source though. Am a bit apprehensive but trying to remain 'cautiously optimistic', a phrase not used in conjuction with CSI since firegate. I HATE that I'm so obsessive about this show. Sigh....
