Wow, I've been away too long! 

First of all, yayyy!!! to cincoflex for putting Argent Vite up at Lulu.com.  *sniffle*  I'm so proud!  A sensual, funny, enchanting novel, set in Paris no less... 

Second, the article that Ronnie references in Ch. 9  of Down to Sleep actually does exist.  The abstract can be found here, but the full article is not available for free.  Its focus is on pulling uncontaminated DNA sequences out of mammoth hairs, but the fact that DNA can be found in hair shafts is significant.  At least for my purposes.  *grin* 8

Did you watch the TV show about the mammoth in ice a couple of years ago? It was amazingly cool! So, yayyy! for your research into the DNA analysis.

-Nah, just kidding of course, but darn I'm getting anxious. And I'm almost as eager about science as I am about this story so that is awesome - yay DNA because it will make all right in the world again for Gil and Sara, right? Riiiiight??!
