Half-bored burble.  I generally loathe Shakespeare done out of period, and this hasn't changed my opinion.

"Civil war divides the country."  Yep, that's pretty much what it does

It's got some goodies in it, though, Maggie Smith, John Wood...

Ooh, nice entrance!

Oh, one can just see the keg of malmsy coming, can't one?

Are they ever going to get to any dialogue?

I want the old lady's gloves, I do.

Ah, the doomed, all in one nice little grouping.

Seriously??  In the lavatory?  Are they trying to make this a farce?

Not to mention talking to the camera...

Well, gracious, I was wrong!  Clarence is the rather obvious photographer.

Too much fun chewing on the scenery...

Ooh, he's cute in glasses!

Hey, no accent?  Nice hat though.

Huh, a boar.  Never seen one of those before.

Tyrrell (sp?) is clearly not interested in this whole thing.

The steam tunnels are a nice effect, but they are not at all Shakespearean.

I'm sure he'd bustle well if he put his mind to it.

That purple dress is a bit...no.

Her hairdo looks like it's going to slide off her head.

Was the naked guy really necessary?

More naked guy.  Death of Marat?  Please.

Now that's a view.

Good heavens, it's the guy who played Warren Lewis.  Hee!  Family reunion from Shadowlands, practically.

The stewardess?  *snerrrrrrk*  -- Well, that was impressive.  Eww.  --Now I'm wondering how they got the effect.

Ack.  The uniform.  Gah.

I am rapidly losing interest in this.  Maybe it's because I know the plot already.

How soon until she tosses the glass in his face?

Er, I'm not overly familiar with the play, but wasn't there supposed to be some kind of battle, even off-screen?  Not a rout?

That ending...totally off-putting.  I do not think Shakespeare would approve.
