Chapter Five of Meander is now posted. It is Inception, Arthur/Ariadne, and rated PG-13.
This chapter wouldn't be half so good without the gentle and expert advice of
cincoflex . She also made the gorgeous banner below!
Ariadne’s nightmare is based slightly on one of my own, though not the one I mentioned earlier this week.
I find twins fascinating; have for years. I grew up with a pair of fraternals that evolved their own private language before they began speaking the one their parents used, but unfortunately by the time I met them they’d forgotten it.
The last scene was entirely different when I first wrote it, but I was never happy with it, and Cincoflex pointed out some flaws. It became expedient to scrap it and start over.
The Belvedere print is by MC Escher.
One has to wonder how Ariadne is going to get into the workshop, but presumably Arthur told her where to find the key. *snerk* Just because the scene ended doesn’t mean the conversation did.
