Today's prompt is also from
cincoflex. Thank you, dearest--this was the Britishist thing I could come up with.

Prompt: something really Britishly Christmas for Eames
“Shut up a moment.” Eames flicked through the channels on the small television, ignoring Arthur’s impatience and Cobb’s puzzlement. “Just give me a few minutes.”
“We have an appointment,” Arthur began, but Eames’ sharp gesture cut him off. Eames sat down on the edge of the chair, drink in hand, and didn’t take his eyes from the screen.
The music was familiar. Behind him, Cobb’s quiet voice drew Arthur away, and he spared a thought for gratitude. Eames wasn’t much of a patriot, but some things were sacred.
As the Christmas address ended, he lifted his glass to his Queen.
