I've started mainlining Once Upon a Time.  I consider this to be entirely the fault of Zionangel's Tumblr. 

I didn't need another fandom, I really really didn't...

OUAT is AMAZING!
The depth and the plot to each single character is staggering, really. And it gets more complicated and twisted as the episodes go, which is an added huge bonus!
I recommend some of the comms here at LJ on OUAT, it's a fast-growing fandom :)

Heh, thanks, I'm not sure I'm ready for comms--let me catch up and I'll see. Mostly I'm interested in the Rumpelstiltskin story. But I'm enjoying the fact that Emma is a complete badass.

But if you're interested, there's a Rumplestiltskin / Belle community I just recently became a member of, and there's some stuff in there about him already. Just saying.
And you're right, he is perhaps the most complicated and interesting character of the whole lot.

Also, you can watch all the episodes so far, in streaming, if you go over to alluc.org, just in case you've missed any eps :) It can help you catch up!

I loved JMorrison as Cameron in Dr. House, but always felt she should make her covert backbone a little more overt, so it's nice to see her doing this in Emma's shoes :)

I've been getting them off Hulu, and am now caught up; Emma really is a hoot. I never cared for Cameron much, so it's interesting to watch the actress do someone else.

I find I'm glad that they chose someone not typical-looking to play Snow.

Hmm, I think tge writers are not done with Emma yet.
And Ginnifer Goodwin is not your run-of-the-mill 'conceptional'
Choice for Snow and it makes her perfect for it.
I like her Snow sassiness, but the story arc between her
and David could do with a little sprucing up right now.

I know exactly how you feel, poor M.Margaret, now she gets to be the 'fallen woman' and it's all because he just couldn't make up his damned mind!
To be honest I didn't like the way they tried to resolve the Abigail issue - James ends up marrying Snow because Abigail already had someone else?
Please. I mean that is a little clichè.

Lol, did you feel yourself wanting to shout out to Catherine to keep her mouth shut when she told Regina about going to Boston? I did ;)
I thought this episode was a little too mellow - :D we need more Rum/Gold!.
I can't wait to see what's going to happen when Regina will play the Belle card. What do you think?

Heh, I'm starting to wonder just what the queen is feeling about Catherine. She's loathsome, but she's also obviously vulnerable to a degree. But I expect not being able to leave Storybrooke is automatic--no matter who tries, they can't get out. It's like the Bermuda Triangle of the Northeast or something.

I will be fascinated to see the evolution of the Belle storyline, in part because Mr. Gold is correct--he's the one with the real power. And since people knew his name all along in the FT world, all he's done is let Regina know that he's aware of the duality. After all, all he has to do is say please... *evil grin*

This one caught my attention from the first episode and then sucked me right in. I've put all my trust in the writer's ability to tell a story and take me on a ride and so far, they haven't disappointed.

I find it a bit choppy, but that may resolve given how many threads they're running! The characterizations are interesting, and the kid is a great actor.
