I've been wondering this one for a while. Are there any fics out there where Grissom's mother dislikes Sara? I've never run across one. I've read some fics, good ones sometimes, where Grissom's mother is a less-than-sympathetic character, but none of those have introduced Sara to her.

Because, of course, the idea is growing on me. What kind of story would grow out of Grissom's mother actively disliking Sara, for whatever reason? What would that do to Grissom? Nearly endless possibilities...

Very interesting plot. I can't remember reading any fics like that. Of course, there are hundreds, thousands even (shocking I know) that I haven't read yet. I know I've read some where Sara is apprehensive about meeting his mom.

Moreover, how would Sara react once she realized that his mother didn't like her? And why doesn't she like Sara? Because she's younger? Because she's his subordinate? Because nobody is good enough for her son? Conflicted Grissom. Heartbroken Sara. Oh the possibilities...I'm loving it already. :-D

It would be fascinating, wouldn't it? *grin* And would she come around, or try to break them up, or just be cool and unfriendly? What would it do to Grissom, if he finally got his courage, to end up with this conflict? Fun all round!
