:-) Looooooooove you. Also, thanks much for the way you handled Alzheimer's~you dealt with it very gracefully-my gran had Alzheimer's, and it was one of the hardest things to watch happen, and a lot of writers play into the aspect of all the suffering, but you did so well!
Hey! You may already know this, but your post-Serenity fic has been recced over at unfitforsociety. I hope you don't mind, but I'd passed on your website to the gal who runs that journal, musesfool, because I knew she was a big Firefly junkie.
I'm a loser. I read this chapter last week and I didn't leave you a note. Anyway, what a WONDERFUL chapter. They had so much fun on the water and eating junk food - it had me craving both. Wow. Rosalie. So sad, yet a fact of life for so many. It opens up issues - some new, some that I had to be reminded of. I completely ignored the fact that Grissom's home is Vegas. In my mind, his home is a gap-toothed, leggy brunette. Huh. California, Nevada or Virginia? and will Sara follow? or will Rosalie go to them? what about Ed and the kids??? ACK! my mind is spinning now! You know, this COULD actually go on forever ... how lovely would THAT be? ;)
We'll definitely forgive this 'light chapter' (your word, not mine) *grin* given that we got the wonderful "Proud Flesh"!
Oh, back to HTTM, this chapter was lovely. It's nice to see the 'morning breath' issue being addressed in fics as it's usually ignored (just like on TV and in the movies, LOL). What a wonderfully perfect day for them all...museums, sailing and eating junkfood. Now I'm worried about Rosalie though and how her illness will affect Grissom, and the closeness that Grissom and Sara are just now feeling comfortable with.
I agree with csipal...I could see this going on forever...sigh.
Forever would be nice if my muse would cooperate, but on the other hand I have some other projects I'd like to work on. We'll see what she says, I guess!
