Day fourteen
May. 27th, 2007 01:21 pmWe had a rather dull breakfast at a cafe, then finished up our packing and carrying downstairs. Dad, bless him, ordered an airport van, rather than the complicated and wearying path of our journey out. As it happened, some other folks in our hotel were also going--they even had the same flight.
It took about an hour to get through ticketing and Customs, in part because Charles de Gaulle is huge and we had to take another bus around the construction. But then we got to play in the duty-free area, and buy lunch.
Fortunately, this time the plane's AC was running fine. I watched some period movie on the way back, only because it had Liev Schrieber (sp?) in it and I was curious. He was playing an ass, though.
On to the serious jet lag!
