Last night I dreamed a crossover, with a reluctant romance between Sofia Curtis and a terminally ill Dr. McCoy. 

My brain has gone beyond weird.

For the record I see nothing impossible about this pairing--we know Bones appreciates a strong personality, and certainly likes women--I'm guessing his Southern charm could disarm Sofia in the right situation. Likewise I also think Sofia Curtis would appreciate a pragmatic man who doesn't suffer fools any more gladly than she does, and yet has a sly sense of humor and an innate courtesy not often seen in her line of work.

Me? Promoting an unlikely but highly intriguing pairing? Youbetcha!
