Okay, I just tried the I Write Like meme that's running around.  The first time, with some Green Laurel, I got Dan Brown.  Never having read anything by him, I can't say whether it's accurate, but honestly I never thought of a straightforward kidnap romance being on the same level as The Da Vinci Code, whatever level that might be.  

So next I put in Spare Me in its entirety.  CSI fluff.  And it tells me I write like...

...H.P. Lovecraft. 

XD  I don't think the code is quite accurate...I mean, I didn't invoke Cthulhu at all.

I put in a variety of fic and apparently I write like Chuck Palahniuk (who?), Stephen King, James Joyce (twice!), and PG Wodehouse.

BUT!! I put Selected Scenes from a Madhouse, my Sherlock Holmes entry to dark_fest. That one is written in the style of Arthur Conan Doyle. *dies*
