vr_trakowskiI have dishes to do, lots of dishes. I was only going to watch for a moment, but The World of Jim Henson (PBS's Great Performances, for some inexplicable reason only released on VHS) has sucked me in again even though I only just saw it last week. It is always a bittersweet delight.
If you only know Sesame Street and The Muppet Show and its spinoffs, there is so much you haven't seen. For instance, the Muppets were originally meant for adults. It's a tantalizing video, showing bits and glimpses, and there's always so much more I want to see and know.
I think my favorite clips are those where Rolf breaks up Jimmy Dean on live TV...
