Last night I realized that sensation is returning to the numb area across my abdomen.  After my surgery last year the doctor told me it could take a while for the feeling to come back, so I haven't been worried. 

But I hadn't realized how heavy the numbness was, if that's not a contradiction in terms.  It's a little tender, but it doesn't hurt, and...I feel lighter.  *shrug* 

It's nice to know that nerves do heal.
