May. 3rd, 2013 01:39 amSo if I have to be home for weeks post-surgery, it would be a great time to work on my Netflix list, right? I mean, it’s so long I have an extra list on my computer.
So, I’m starting instead with the first season of Forever Knight, which I have on DVD. :P However, I don’t have the third season, so one could argue that I can clear that off the list when I get that far.
Production values haven’t aged too badly so far, though if I recall the special effects aren’t worth writing home about. Ooh, no, they’re not. *snerk* But hey, it was the Nineties, and a TV series.
Ah, Schanke. I missed you.
The curator always reminds me of Peri from Doctor Who. Not the same actress, though.
Nat! XD I love that woman. I put her in a CSI fic just because. Though why she’s wearing a painter’s cap straight out of the Eighties I do not know.
And I was sorry to see Gary Farmer go. It was great to see him on Plymouth.
I like Nick’s apartment almost as much as I like Sloan’s in Prey. Remote-controlled blinds long before those were common...
“The 1962 Cadillac has more trunk space than any car made in the last thirty years.” *snerk*
I love the fact that Nick can speak Chinese, but no one makes a deal about it.
I forgot how annoying the heroine is. I can hardly wait until someone eats her; I hope that’s what happens.
Nigel Bennett is perfect as LaCroix. And he obviously has so much fun with the role.
It’s interesting to note that the English subtitles do not always match the spoken French.
Wow, I forgot they incinerated LaCroix in the second ep. Difficult to get around later...
Good heavens, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Episode 3. Jeanne d’Arc, and Schanke almost getting eaten? Whoa.
Nope, never did see that one. I wonder how I missed it!
