...though I don't think rockets have that many stages. Oh well. Chapter 5 of Halfway to the Moon is now posted. Sara has a birthday, and a realization.

Another awesome chapter! I am really loving the 'wooing' Grissom. I agree with your assessment as to him really being a romantic underneath. It fits perfectly. I keep saying this, but I love the pacing too - slow and easy - just how I would picture Grissom and Sara approaching a relationship after all that has happened. Wonderful characterizations and I'm loving your Original Characters! Great job VR!

Heh, thank you! I do want to take this slowly as it seems to fit them. And yeah, there is that passion under there--combined with his attention to detail--oh well! ;)

Really loved this chapter. This fic is one of my favorites. You have such a unique insight into Grissom and Sara and have set up such a wonderful and believable storyline for them. Grissom is absolutely going to have to work hard to win over Sara. I'm also routing for Ed and Gracie, and Joey and Kimmy are adorable.

What really got me was the conversation between Grissom and Ed in Chapter 4 and the ease that Grissom felt in opening up to Ed about Sara and his past mistakes. I'm enjoying the pace, but hurry up about it! LOL.

Thank you! It's going to take a while, I can tell you that, but I think it'll be fun along the way. Grissom does have a few surprises up his sleeves!

I'm in love with this story. Period.

I think that this is one of the more realistic looks at what it takes to rebuild a relationship - not just a romantic one, but a friendship as well. I'm glad that you don't have spending all their free time together - you let them naturally progress as they would in everyday life. Sara still has her family and work and now you have Grissom exploring some outside interests. It's like their chance to be normal and they get to experience that together.

As normal as those two are ever going to get, anyway. *grin* Thank you! I've always felt they had to base anything romantic on their friendship to begin with.
