Many thanks to everyone who sent me get-well wishes, suggestions, and commiseration.  I'm feeling somewhat better, though by no means back up to snuff; hopefully I didn't pass this along to anyone else.  Given that I was in contact with two elderly people earlier this week, the wish is more than perfunctorally sincere... 

I find it interesting that fever makes my skin temporarily softer.  Even my feet.  Weird.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. I understand about hoping it wasn't passed to anyone. Some how my husband didn't get the horrendous flu I had, thank God. I hope everyone around you stays healthy.

I just finished chapter 4, I agree with Ligaras, intense. I look forward to the next chapter.
