Okay, I can still write a decent short story.  A House by the Water is CSI, rated G, and definitely has spoilers through 9x1.  It is also unbetaed--I'm impatient--and for bunchofgrapes , who asked.

*sob* - this was just lovely and very moving. It was great to read a different take on 9x01, as I hadn't thought before about the impact that Warrick's death had on Brass.

I'm really really glad you're back to writing for CSI again - hope there's more, as I've missed your stories! :-)

I have always been interested in their relationship, given that it started so acrimoniously. I wish they'd made more of it.

Thanks! I don't know how much more I'll be doing for CSI--it kind of depends on the season.
