I never really liked the song, but I doesn't bother me. Although the removal of the cigarette line sort of amuses me. Of all the things that people dislike about that song, and that's what they change? :-D
I know people who swore Futurama was the best show ever made, and I found it mildly amusing at times at best. Just because something is different doesn't necessarily mean it's good. But it was the first time that I thought about Santa spying on people worldwide to know who was naughty and nice.
