Criminal Minds 1:2, 1:3
Jun. 9th, 2011 11:30 pmIs the title of Ep. 3 a hat-tip to another CBS show? :P
Boy, they're burning up Gideon's backstory quickly. Nice to see a female as the baddie, though, even if they cop (hah) out and make her the victim of a physiological problem.
More wonderfully snarky Garcia, which is always a plus, and Morgan is improving as the actor settles into the character. He needs to lose the tie, though.
Every time someone cites a statistic about a particular criminal type being overwhelmingly male, I find myself wondering how long a female could get away with the crime due to the expectations.
The guy playing the bomber has been everywhere, of course, and the lead cop in Florida--ah! Joe the DA from Beauty and the Beast. Lovely to see him. It amuses me deeply to see that, so far, two of their guest stars were later in Inception. I admit to a particular fondness for Lukas Haas, stemming from my indefensible but staunch love for Solarbabies. Keep your laughter to yourself.
ETA: Gideon's hole card as a negotiator seems to be mocking his opponent until they snap. This seems, at the least, unsustainable.
