Yes, they definitely are having a personal note to this season., not that I mind. NCIS seems to be doing the same thing. I wish CSI would have done a little more of it in the later seasons of Grissom. The tidbits, while fun, would have given fans that extra connection to all the characters (although I would have enjoyed the GSR stuff better).
