What do you mean, 'not wonderful?' I enjoyed it very much! I really like how you're developing Grissom and Sara's relationship as she's moved back to Vegas. Thanks so much for the timely chapter, VR!
I see I’m in good company disagreeing with your ‘not wonderful’. HTTM is consistently engaging and chapter 31 is no exception. As always I’m left curiously satisfied, but looking forward to more.
I've been so busy with my kids lately, I haven't left a review for the past two weeks. I'm sorry about that. This story continues to wow me and keeps me excited for what's next. I really appreciate what you put into it, even in a time of drought(on the show). Thanks for giving us this.
[ Chapter 31 of HTTM is up now...not wonderful, but there. ]
You really are your own worst critic. You know that, right?
So, the chapter. Snippets of the little everyday domesticities (is that even a word?) always makes me grin.
You've got me wondering, however:
[ “Mm, I guess.” Grissom regarded the sleek machine sitting next to his own elegant one, an idea forming. “Sara, would you let me drive your car?” ]
And then him doing research before bed. What's he up to...?
I quite liked Sara's first day on the job...her intro to her coworkers. It played out well. She's cautious but not timid, and it looks like a good group.
Oh, and this... [ [snip] and Sara returned the firm grip, feeling both confident and...tall. ]
...had me giggling. I can relate. I'm 5'3" but the cleaning lady at work is about 4'9" and I feel sooo tall next to her. LOL
No big traumas or revelations, just a gentle continuation of a growing relationship. I enjoyed this...made a lovely break from a couple of angst-ridden stories I'm following. LOL
I look forward to the next chapter.
Question: Is the story just sort of unfolding, or to you have an idea where it's going? Just wondering.
