Weird Science. Huh. I'm kinda surprised you went there even for RDJ, considering your reaction to Soapdish:-). I remember WS as a heavily teen-male slanted fantasy that I didn't find very funny, though my BF loved it.
To be honest, all I knew was that it's considered something of an '80s classic, and that it involved boys creating a woman. I thought she was a robot until I saw it.
I should have probably turned it off, but there was a certain horrified fascination...
It *is* rather a train wreck... but I saw so v. many extremely bad movies in the late 70's and 80's that Weird Science barely registered on the Dreckometer.
